From the merger of two major racecourse groups, Arena Leisure and Northern Racing.

ARC launches The All-Weather Championships

Incorporating all all-weather flat races in Britain.

2013

Inaugural All-Weather Championships Finals Day

The first All-Weather Championships Finals Day, worth £1 million takes place at Lingfield Park Racecourse

2014

HM The Queen wins The Doncaster Cup

Estimate, trained by Sir Michael Stoute wins the historic Doncaster Cup.

Martin Cruddace Appointed ARC Chief Executive

Martin Cruddace, a qualified solicitor with a lifelong interest in racing, joined ARC in August 2015 following a similar role at the Association of British Bookmakers and ten years in a senior executive roles at Betfair.

Opening of refurbished Bath Racecourse

The multimillion pound redevelopment included the building of the new Langridge Grandstand

Racing resumes at Great Yarmouth following track redevelopment

Great Yarmouth provides one of the best straight turf miles in British racing, often utilised by top training yards to give opportunities to talented young racehorses.
