Arena Racing Company (ARC) is looking for a Group Financial Controller who will report to the Finance Director working from our Head Office in Millbank, London. The successful candidate will have strong experience in a similar role with transferable skills to deliver on a variety of tasks.

Some of the Key Responsibilities include

  • Produce reports across the group to include P&L consolidation, finance reporting to support KPI data and group performance whilst maximising the reporting integration efficiency to the account system
  • Produce the divisional Group balance sheet Consolidation
  • Undertake Balance Sheet reviews on a rolling basis with the Group Racing Division FC and Group Finance Accountant
  • Oversee Central/Departmental management reporting and Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Produce Group VAT return coordinating the submission of the monthly return electronically
  • Review Raceday Flash reports for accuracy
  • Banking and cashflow management responsibility to include payment authorisations, bank signatory, production and monitoring of cashflow projections

Person Specification

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified


  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduation experience
  • Commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful, influential leader and experience of leading both strategic and operational teams
  • Strong IT, analytic and modelling skills
