MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To communicate effectively with the C&B Manager, C&B Supervisors, Resort Catering General Manager, and Retail and Cellar Manager to understand requirements and prioritise workload appropriately.
  • To be familiar with all hospitality areas on site with regard to room layout and capacities to ensure compliance with customer requirements as well as our health & safety responsibilities.
  • To ensure that all facilities are maintained to the highest possible standards of presentation.
  • To maintain store rooms including completion of the sign off sheets.
  • To take an active role in looking out for maintenance or health and safety issues around the site during the course of normal duties and reporting them to the appropriate Department Head in a timely manner following Resort procedures.
  • To be responsible for area supervision as and when requested during racing or at other events (to include the cellar or any retail or hospitality areas on site appropriate to skill set and experience level).
  • As and when required to directly supervise casual workers in the set-up and break down of retail and hospitality areas.
  • To take responsibility for security and energy efficiency when accessing and egressing building during the course of duties.
  • When possible to lock up the Pavilion and Eclipse buildings before the ending of work for the day.
  • To comply with all Health and Safety procedures associated with the department at all times. This relates to:
  • ·         standards and procedures of correct working practices

    ·         the completion of risk assessments

    ·         COSHH regulations

    ·         use of Personal Protective Equipment

    11.  To control wastage and operate according to the Companies environment policy with regard to:

    ·         product control and waste minimisation

    ·         proper care and maintenance of equipment to prolong its life

    ·         using linens in appropriate quantity to minimise unnecessary laundering

    ·         proper separation and disposal of cardboard, paper and glass in recycling bins

    ·         minimising energy wastage by switching off unused lights, heating, PCs and equipment

    12.  To be an ambassador for Lingfield Park and ARC, taking personal responsibility for finding out about our product and services, and at all times striving to represent the Resort in the most professional, courteous and efficient manner possible.

  • Feedback from all internal and external customers regarding service provided in response to requests and duties
  • Contribution towards the general presentation of the Resort
  • Contribution towards minimizing energy costs and maximizing useable recycled waste
