Your Role
As a Chef de Partie, you’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining and improving food quality across all areas of the kitchen. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior chefs and supporting the daily operations of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and plan the day’s menu with the Head or Junior Sous Chef each morning.
- Supervise and assist with food prep and mise-en-place for lunch and dinner service.
- Ensure high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Coach and support Junior Chefs and Commis Chefs.
- Carry out any additional tasks as directed by the Head Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or senior management.
About You
- GCSEs or equivalent
- Level 2 Food Safety in Catering or Level 2 Food Preparation qualification
- Minimum 1 year’s experience as a chef (CDP or strong Commis Chef ready to step up)
- Previous experience in a branded hotel kitchen is highly desirable
- Passionate about fresh food, teamwork, and service excellence
