Home to the world’s oldest classic horse race, the St. Leger, Doncaster Racecourse is a unique multipurpose venue welcoming over 500,000 guests to over 35 fixtures each year and a full events calendar hosting events such as Weddings, Conferences, Boxing, Summer Crafting, Classic Car Show, Antiques Fayres and lots more.

Responsibilities for the successful Revenue & Reservations Manager include (but not limited to):
• Maximize hotel sales, focusing on room revenue for the hotel, with support from the central Hilton Revenue Team.
• Support the budgeting and forecast process to maximise average rate, occupancy and ultimately yield.
• Manage the group reservation enquiries, ensuring processes are followed in place to convert business in a timely manner.
• Ensure effective daily checks for reservations are in place with support of the reservations agent and front desk team. Make, cancel or change reservations, ensuring information passed to relative departments is correct.
• Always maintain a positive sales attitude, seeking out all opportunities in the hotel.
• Build effective business relationships with local accounts and group booking agents to maximise future business opportunities.
• Note any changes in the main guest sources and markets, reporting the trend changes.
• Make sure all commissions are correct and followed-up on promptly.
• Ensure that all correspondence has been filed accordingly, with correct and updated information.
• Comply to the hotel credit policy and make sure all forecast revenues are met.
• Comply with rooms supply, inventory and price control.
• Maintain and update guests’ information and sales data by reservation procedures.
The person we are looking for as a Reservations Manager has….
• Experience within branded hotels (Ideally Hilton) and a Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, or demonstrate successful career progression over the past 5 years in room revenue and sales.
• Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Good team player.
• Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Able to lead, provide guidance and develop team members.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in crisis management.
• Innovative self-starter with high motivation.
