About the role

We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic team player to join our Commercial Department (Media & International) as a Commercial Executive, supporting commercial services to our bookmaker clients. If you are a self-starter and are looking to join an exciting and innovative commercial environment, then this is the position for you. 

The role will require communication and analytical skills to deal with both internal and external stakeholders. You will learn how all commercial aspects within the business are delivered as well as develop the ability to inform strategy based on data trends. The capability to form close and effective working relationships to fulfil responsibilities across company departments, external suppliers and clients will be vital. A strong interest in sport and more specifically horse racing is required.

About You        

You will have an enthusiasm for working in horse racing or sports betting with excellent communication and organisational skills. Full training will be given so previous experience is not essential, but a willingness to learn is a must. The successful candidate must be able to work accurately and to deadlines, working well under pressure is key. 

  • High levels of reliability and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Commercially focused.
  • Co-operative team player.
  • Adept with Microsoft office and excel with other data analysis software experience desirable.
  • A basic knowledge of horse racing and betting is essential.
  • Flexibility in regard to working hours (occasional weekend work).

Key responsibilities for the role will include

  • Work with the commercial team to source new business from around the world.
  • Developing relationships with clients both current and new to make sure they are fully serviced.
  • Create and manage data sets related to all commercial touch points.
  • Providing internal feedback and analysis of data trends relating to all aspects of business.
  • Ensure content on B2B facing websites is up to date and reflects current product offering.
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of sales material across all commercial activity.
