We are looking to expand our leadership team at The Royal Windsor Racecourse and are currently looking for experienced professionals within the Hospitality industry on a Casual basis. We are in need of strong, efficient and skilled individuals to effectively operate their assigned areas. The designated areas range from our fine dining to casual dining restaurants, Hospitality suites and boxes as well as our event Marquees facilitating various events.
The ideal candidate will be someone with previous hospitality experience who can lead and manage a team, confidently liaise with clients, and organise functions and events where applicable. To succeed in this role, you are expected to lead from the front. Be very hands on and able to support your staff during their shift. Have a high level of attention to detail and be able to work in an organised fashion to ensure the clients are satisfied with your hospitality. The guests’ focus should be at the forefront of everything you do, and you should dually train your staff to develop the same focus and way of thinking. We encourage managers with a positive can-do attitude to all things’ hospitality, those who can keep their team busy and engaged even through quiet periods of the shift and take advantage of training opportunities to further support and develop your team.
The responsibilities of a Hospitality manager are varied. You are expected to coordinate various events and functions and deliver high-quality standards when representing The Royal Windsor Racecourse. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as organisational skills in order to effectively manage and delegate to your team. Problem solving capabilities are a requirement as well as building on that client relationship to ensure customer satisfaction. Upkeeping our company standards from hygiene, health and safety, training, and presentation is vital in the success of the chosen candidate; ideally the hospitality manager would already possess an array of knowledge pertaining to company standards and professionalism and would only need support in tailoring that knowledge to Windsor Racecourse.
