Regional Events Sales Manager - Doncaster Base

Arena Racing Company are currently looking to recruit a Regional Events Sales Manager to oversee all non raceday Events Sales within our Northern Region, based at Doncaster Racecourse.

The Regional Event Sales Manager will work within the newly created Regional Commercial Team, driving the non raceday/events commercial success of the region and wider group.

This position will drive Events sales by the effective conversion of non racing events with focus on upsell, account management and driving repeat business. This role will also include pro-active sales to both existing clients and the identification and conversion of new business.

This position will manage the event sales executives and support business co-ordinators on site to drive and deliver the overall EVH strategy. Working closely with the regional catering & operations team to ensure efficient client management and the highest levels of customer service.

To effectively report and communicate with the Group Event Sales Manager and Group Head of Sales & Marketing to ensure a fluid and cohesive approach to proactive sales campaigns, marketing opportunities, fluid processes and system use and feedback sales loops and ensure revenue opportunities are maximised.

Candidates should be highly driven, with a relentlessly positive attitude, the ability to work under pressure and extensive experience within the events / arena.
