Catering and Guest Experience Manager

 

This role has responsibility for Catering & Events; including in house and third-party concessions and the mobilisation of major race days and events within the newly created regional catering Hubs across the group.  Alongside this the position holds specific responsibility for all Catering & Events Delivery at Doncaster and Southwell Racecourse.  The role will be required to lead the continued improvement of the guest experience across the ARC Estate through; team training, competitor and market assessments, brand development, operational excellence and data collection and analysis.

 

This role is primarily based at Doncaster Racecourse and Exhibition Centre, with three clear areas of responsibility:

 

  • To manage the day-to-day catering and events operation at Doncaster and Southwell Racecourses and lead the of permanent and casual workers to deliver all catering and events at these venues.
     
  • To lead the catering & events development and execution for feature events across the ARC estate. Including, but not limited to, all Music Live concert events and feature racing festivals (such as St leger Festival)
     
  • Lead the creation and implementation of a coherent Guest Experience strategy for all areas of the catering & event business service deliverables.  This is to include the maximisation of the revenue and profitability through the growth potential of all of the commercial operations, ensuring alignment with the broader objectives of the Group.
